ImagePOMONA, CA – The longest-running indoor car show in the world, The Grand National Roadster Show, is back for it's fifth year at Southern California’s home of hot rodding – the Fairplex in Pomona (1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona, CA). Between last year’s grand celebration of Ford’s 75th Anniversary of the Deuce, and preparing for next year’s 60th Anniversary of the Grand National Roadster Show, one would wonder what could possibly be left to feature this year, but promoter John Buck of John Buck Enterprises promises to do it again

Fans of all ages will get a close-up look at some of the most esteemed custom cars, trucks, classics, motorcycles and hot rods in the world, as builders spend big dollars to compete for the show’s coveted “America’s Most Beautiful Roadster” title – a distinction honored with a perpetual 9 ½ -foot tall trophy.

Previous recipients include Boyd Coddington of Discovery Channel’s “American Hot Rod” series and The Learning Channel’s “Overhaulin” star Chip Foose. In addition, a “Builder of the Year” award is also given, which this year will be presented to young and talented Troy Trepanier of ‘Rad Rides’ in Manteno, Illinois.

Says promoter John Buck, ”This event is dedicated to those who spend, quite literally, thousands of hours and considerable resources to bring their dreams to life and unveil them in front of us for the very first time.” He continued, “These craftsmen and women fashion objects of automotive art that we all hear about and read about and wait anxiously to see all year long here at the Grand National Roadster Show – and we’re proud to have them.”
