ImageAuburn, IN, May 23, 2007 – Are you an avid film buff?  Would you like to own one of the most famous movie cars in history?  Have you ever dreamed of owning a car with wings?  If so, you need to be at the Kruse International Auburn Spring MotorFair Saturday, June 2, 2007.  Kruse will be auctioning off the world famous celebrity car from the MGM 1968 movie “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” starring Dick Van Dyke.

Whether you want it for yourself, to store in a museum, or to re-sell and double the money that you paid for it, this is a car for you!  In the movie, this winged version was used for stage close ups and transformation scenes, including the flying configuration where the car used its helicopter propellers to escape to the fictional town of Vulgaria.  These helicopter propellers were used only one time as a grand finale to the movie.

Dean V. Kruse, President of Kruse International states, “This is one of the most unusual and most desirable cars ever built!”  The “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” car is owned by Jim Rich of Sugar Grove and was on display in a restaurant attraction know as “Chicago West, Mona Lisa’s Hideaway.”

Gates open at the 480-acre Kruse Auction Park at 8 AM Daily with the auction beginning at 10 AM.  This is one of the nation’s largest springtime events and if you need a winged movie car – don’t be late.

For more information, call Kruse International at (800) 968-4444 or check out the website at http://www.Kruse.com
