ImagePorter, TX — High performance lubricant manufacturer Royal Purple has re-formulated its Max ATF automatic transmission fluid to meet specification for many European transmissions.

Max ATF is a long-life transmission fluid that’s proven to improve performance and extend transmission life. It’s been lauded for its ability to significantly reduce friction, so a vehicle can send more power to the ground. It’s also been proven to reduce operating temperature for longer transmission life

Towing, hauling, racing, serious street performance and other conditions that put a heavy load on a transmission can cause significant heat and wear. More than 90 percent of all automatic transmission failures are caused by overheating. A mere 20°F drop in fluid temperature can double the life of the transmission.  Max ATF's low co-efficient of friction and high film strength help to dramatically reduce heat and wear.

Max ATF is recommended for European automatic transmissions requiring Audi G-052-025-A2, BMW LA2634, BMW LT71141 and Mercedes Benz 236.x.  It also meets the requirements of a variety of other automotive makes and models.  It is fully compatible and can be mixed with other automatic transmission fluids; however, Royal Purple says that for best results you should drain or flush the current fluid before filling your transmission with Max ATF.

If you’re looking for the newly formulated Max ATF, be sure the label on the bottle reads "Max ATF Multi-Spec High Performance Formula" that will ensure you're getting the new Max ATF.
