James Dean and Gig Young Talk About Safey

In 1955, America was in a tizzy about teenage rebellion and Hollywood had a newly minted spokesperson who could explain the angst contagion -- James Dean. Months before Rebel Without a Cause was released Dean was tapped to sit with Gig Young and tell America's troubled youth they should slow down on the highway. Ironically, he was killed in traffic accident a short time later.
