The Larz Anderson Auto Museum has been the center of automotive activity, history and education ever since Larz and Isabel Anderson took delivery of their 1899 Winton Runabout, one of the first motorcars to appear in Boston. The Veteran Motor Car Club of America held auto meets on the Great Lawn as early as the 1930’s.
