California Car Cover Company’s Annual Event Features 500 Custom Rods, and Special Guest, Custom Culture Icon and Talented Craftsman -- Jimmy Shine.

In 2007, California Car Cover Company (CCCC) will host their 12th Annual NSRA Appreciation Day, hosted at its headquarters in Chatsworth, CA. The event traditionally draws thousands of enthusiasts and rodding fans and features more than 500 hot rods, street rods and customs. The event is open to the public from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Jimmy Shine will be onsite and also showcase one of his unique hot rod or cycle creations. Some of Shine’s projects include his own “Bare Nekid” Model A Pickup, the Thacker-Shine Land Speed Roadster, the “Fleet Special” ’32 Ford, the “DH Special” Merc Convertible, and even a custom F150 built for Ford’s SEMA display. So-Cal’s colorful fabricator will host a special autograph session, signing his ultra-cool T-shirts and other So-Cal accessories.
